WrestleMania 28: Which Direction Can John Cena Take After His Loss to the Rock?

The Rock needed to win at WrestleMania 28 for several reasons.

Firstly, there would have been absolutely no point in him coming back if he was just going to put over SuperCena. It would have no benefit for John Cena or The Rock and there would have been uproar.

Secondly, Cena can now use this loss to help develop his character and steer it in a new direction. It is no secret that people are tired of Cena being shoved down their throats and they want a change.

Finally, The Rock can now say he has beaten the past, present, and future of the WWE—and he beat them all at WrestleMania. Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania X-8, Steve Austin at WrestleMania XIX and John Cena at WrestleMania 28.

This leaves one question: Where will Cena go from here?
